As Semalytix scaled up, so too did the need to educate new users about how the platform functioned. I was tasked with developing a persistent onboarding component that would guide users through the functionality of the platform. Given the complexity of Pharos, senior stakeholders felt we had to conceive of something more substantial than clickthrough highlights.
The Pharos Coach concept would be a lightweight text and video applet that launched inside the platform and presented users with a mini training curriculum designed by our customer success team. The following wireframes are an example of the contents of a document that I would submit to the dev team for handoff on a high level design task like this.
